About The Process
I use a metal clay that is made up of finely ground silver and an organic material that acts as a binding agent. After I sculpt the piece, it is fired in a kiln and the organic material is burned out leaving 99% pure silver (more silver than sterling). Next I use a patina on it to help oxidize the recessed areas. Finally I hand polish it using very fine steel wool. Once the pendant is complete I put it on a sterling silver chain and send it out to you!
